About The Author

My time as a Vice Principal, teacher, and mentor allowed me to see all sorts of wonderful characters in children—how their innocence is matched by their incredible ability to naturally problem solve and adapt.

With adult guidance and support, they are capable of so much. The future is in their hands.

My main goal is, and always will be, to promote the joy of a good story. Just fall in love with the story and make sincere connections with it. It invites the community. Who doesn’t like to be read to? Whether it be an educator in his or her rocking chair surrounded by a circle of eager children, or parents, grandparents, or guardians having a snuggle up and read time. Preferably with a warm cup of cocoa and a cookie. A bedtime story, as part of the nighttime routine, sending us sleepily adrift to the land of dreams.

And if an inspiration is discovered within these pages, then my time sharing this story is well spent!
